带式污泥脱水机由滤带、辊压筒、滤带张紧系统、滤带调偏系统、滤带冲洗系统和滤带驱动系统构成。带式污泥脱水机分为4类：通用型带式污泥脱水机、强力型带式污泥脱水机、超强力型带式污泥脱水机、用于工业生产的重型带式污泥脱水机。

工作原理及构造：
1．污泥在进入转鼓浓缩带式脱水一体化设备之前，通过絮凝剂制备投加系统将高分子絮凝剂打入混合反应槽中。2．在混合反应槽中，污泥与高分子絮凝剂经搅拌充分混合，污泥由微细颗粒迅速凝聚成大颗粒，并形成网状结构的大团絮凝体，然后进入缓慢旋转的预脱水转鼓中。在污泥被特殊装置运输到转鼓末端的过程中，大部分游离水通过滤布得以释放，达到浓缩效果，出水由过滤槽收集而与固体污泥分离。
3．经过预脱水的污泥由斜板滑到带式压滤机的上部滤带上，然后传输到下部滤带。在上、下滤带之间，由于逐步增压和剪切力的作用使污泥进一步脱水后排出。
4．污泥的产量和干度可由无极变速装置控制，清洗水用量可由液位控制系统调节。
